Redwoods Engagement Session | Airport Runway Engagement |California Elopement Photographer
Mackenzie + Stephen had a really unique idea for their engagement session and I was all about it! They’re both pilots, and met while flying, so it only made sense to incorporate something from that! We were planning on shooting their adventure session in the Redwoods, which is how we spent the first half, but then we headed to a run way! Mackenzie found a small airport in Northern California that allowed us to close off the runway for a little!
First we did a little exploring through the Redwoods, because if you’re in Northern California, you HAVE to explore the Redwoods! From there, we headed to the run way. There was a man driving down the run way as his dog ran next to the truck to exercise him - the things you see sometimes haha! We shot along the runway until we didn’t have any light left, and of course, popped some champagne!
These two were supposed to be married in Hawaii in April, then June, then August, and now next April. So send them lots of big luck charms that they are finally able to have their wedding next year!
