I BELIEVE…

in big adventures + big DREAMS

in the power of travel

that the best place to be is surrounded by fresh air

in experiences over things

in living your truth, so that others are inspired to do the same

that the moments when you feel most alive are when you’re doing the things you love, with the people you love, in the places you love

that your wedding day should unique to you, reflect you, and be about you

that your wedding day should be limitless

in the power of elopements

WHY I’M HERE

I was on my first flight at a few weeks old, hopping around the country and seeing different places from as early as I can remember. Coming from an airline family (shoutout to Southwest!!), travel has always been something that feels like home (weird, I know). Add being apart of a family who prioritized time in the outdoors, and it’s safe to say that when I’m traveling to new places, favorite places, or just spending time outside, that’s when I feel like the best version of myself.

I used my travel benefits to explore as much of the globe as possible (while I had em!), and I still do the same (my travel list is reallllll long - anyone feel me?). When I’m standing on top of a mountain marveling at the views around me, when I’m standing in front of a roaring waterfall, when I travel to a new place and see something like an iceberg or glacier, or when I watch the sunset over the Oregon coast, I’m thriving. And that’s an empowering way to feel. Connecting with nature and the outdoors does that to us. A while back, I realized that photography allowed me to share those feelings with people who weren’t there, which was incredibly exciting, and pushed me into pursing landscape + travel photography. But then I had a thought. What if I DID bring other people there…

I’ll be honest with you. I’ve never been one to obsess over weddings. I don’t find much excitement in centerpieces or color schemes. I was never even one to dream about my own wedding.

But there are plenty of things I have obsessed over. I’ve obsessed over incredible mountain peaks, cheap flights, and awaiting adventure. I’ve obsessed over having experiences, whether they be once in a lifetime, or as simple as enjoying a bonfire, and better yet - sharing that with others. I’m obsessed with watching couples take back the power over their wedding days, being true to what brings them happiness, and for making the most important day of their lives a celebration that is a true reflection of them. And I have a feeling that you might feel the same way.

Some couples just don’t want a traditional wedding experience. And if that’s you, I’m here to tell you that that’s OKAY. In fact, it’s mega exciting that you’re aware of that + searching out something different! I’m here to guide you in realizing what IS the perfect wedding day for you, make that dream come to life, and create images that tell the story of your day. Images that will take you back to your experience and your feelings every time you look at them, and encourage you to pursue adventure for the rest of your lives.

HEY, I’M NICOLE. HERE ARE SOME FUN FACTS!

You heard me talk about traveling, so clearly that’s an important part of me! I've explored 5 continents, 28 countries, and about 35 states - many of which solo. The more I hop around the globe, the more my list grows. My current bucket list location? ANTARTICA!

I equally love the outdoors. Mountains, oceans, sunsets, sunrises, big ol' pine tree's and secluded wilderness that makes you feel like you're the only person in the world. That's probably why I love plants so much! I love bringing an element of the outside world into my inside world - although I'm still working on my green thumb...

I’m a serial hobbyist. I play lots of tennis, spend lots of my free time in a pottery studio throwing clay on wheel, I’ve played Irish fiddle since I was a wee little one, and I LOVE a good backgammon game.

I'm an extroverted introvert. I love people, but I thrive off of alone time. I've found that a good balance keeps me at peace.

Chocolate lab mom. Oh heck yes. My little (big) Sophie is my child - not exaggerating. I BEGGED my entire life to have a dog, and finally Soph came into the picture. She was well worth the wait and I'm high-key obsessed with her. Bonus points if you send me photos of your dog in your inquiry. #notkidding

Lastly, is photography! I've had a camera in my hand through my whole life - spending my birthday money as a kid on disposable cameras until I got a little digital one for Christmas when I was 9 years old. I took photography classes through high school and college, and it finally came full circle, 'cause now I have lots of them!
