When I think of big sur, California, I think of beautiful coast line, golden sun, and adventurous cali vibes. This was my first time visiting big sur, and it did not disappoint. Everything that I had in my imagination was correct, and quickly exceeded when my toes touched the sand and my eyes set stare on another incredible California sunset.
Flora and Derek are lucky enough to live in this golden wonderland. They've known each other since the 8th grade and now are married with two sweet babes. Derek is a police officer and Flora is a nurse, although budding photographer herself.
I had a few locations I wanted to hit with these two, and after chatting a bit more about my vision for them, and their vision for their shoot, we were able to nail down a few locations that nailed our visions right on the head.
Massive coastal waves, golden sunset, rocky coastline, and of course that pfeiffer canyon bridge. We chased the sun until it set beneath the horizon, found mermaid caves and I even convinced this adventurous couple to set foot in the water!
