Sara and Pryce knew that they wanted their engagement photos at this epic overlook at Rock State Park in Maryland before they even knew which wedding collection they wanted. But hey, that’s fine with me! Obviously, it turned out to be a winner!
I met Sara about 5 years at Millersville when she was a returning orientation leader as I was becoming an orientation leader! That’s also the same week of life I broke my collarbone playing dodgeball with the orientation team #oops. She stood out as such a sweet, quiet, but outstanding leader, and she extra stood out because she had the fluffiest golden retriever puppy EVER, named Mosby.
Well, fast forward 5 years and Sara is engaged to her lifelong friend, Pryce! They were family friends growing up, having known each other forever. She told me the cutest story of how she used to pinch his cheeks and tell him she was the cutest Prycster. ADORABLE.
Prycster proposed with a ring around Mosby’s neck, which if you know Sara and her relationship with her furry little baby, it couldn’t have been more perfect than that.
For their engagement session, we met up in downtown Bel Air to snap a few photos in their new hometown with sweet little Mosby, and then headed to Rock State Park for a quick, but sweaty hike. But, that view was worth it! We got the babiest amount of golden light but enjoyed our evening exploring the park, admiring the overviews and chatting along. We ended the night by literally chasing the sun as is set behind us, trying to find a field to get a few more shots, but they were worth it!
I cannot wait for their wedding next July. I know it will be all things classic and simply beautiful!
