These photos of Abbi and Callen showed off a new side of Yosemite National Park. Elopements and engagement sessions typically happen in locations that iconically look "Yosemite", and with reason! El Cap, half dome, the valley and taft point etc. are all gorgeous and need to be shown off. But this session showed off a different side of Yosemite that's just as beautiful - on the river and surrounded by pine trees.
These two are just as epic as they look. That white van? Yeah they live in it full time with their cute little pup, Charlie. These two are adventure photographers as well and they're able to book shoots all around the west coast because they can live in Yosemite for a week, and moab the next! While of course playing with all those toys you see in their downtime.
The motorbike you'll see them ride, is a favorite of Callens, and this shoot was the first time that Abbi had actually gotten on it! It was so much fun to watch her anxiously but excitedly experience the bike, and Callens massive grin clearly states how he felt about it.
This unexpected, spontaneous shoot was such a fun one because of those two things. It was casual, filled with giggles, and in the true heart of Yosemite. As we laughed along you could hear that river roaring in the background, and smell the pine trees surrounding you. Enjoy these frames from two of my favorite adventurers!
